Is good works enough?

We living in a world that measures success by what we have accomplished or done and we are compared to others in that aspect. But what does God say about it. Is our salvation determined by the good deeds we accomplish, the number of people we lead to the Lord, the amount of money we give, or how much we serve others? Sure these things are important but Paul gets pretty specific. There is no list of accomplishments or list of sins or bad things we avoided in life that determines our righteousness before God. Truth is our works do not determine our righteousness our faith does. And it is the faith of believing in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. That he died and sacrificed himself so we could be restored and made righteous.
