Are You Ready?

Have you thought about what you would do if you knew Christ was coming back tomorrow? Most of us have people who we want to share the Gospel with one last time. Maybe there is something in our own lives we need to deal with too. The reality is though we do not know when Christ will return. It could be today, tomorrow, or years/decades down the road. The truth though is we do not live our lives like his return is imminent. There are loved ones and friends we say I will share with them tomorrow or next week. We pray for someone and then they slip are minds for weeks, months, and even years.

Jesus though challenges us to be ready. Make sure your life is in order and where it needs to be and make sure you have done the things God has called you to do. Whether that is sharing the gospel with a lost loved one, praying for a friend. Whatever it is don’t wait and instead seize the moment and decide to do today what you would normally put off till tomorrow.
